Refund and Cancellation Policy

Grand Hotel International ("we", "us", or "our") maintains this Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") to govern all reservations made through our official channels. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions and forms a binding agreement between you ("Guest") and Grand Hotel International. The specific terms of your booking confirmation shall prevail in case of any discrepancy with this general Policy.
2. Standard Rate Bookings

- Check-in time is at 15:00 (3:00 PM) local property time. Cancellation deadlines are calculated based on this time.
- Modifications to standard bookings are permitted subject to availability and may result in rate differences.
- All cancellations must be made through our official channels (website, mobile app, or direct phone line).
3. Non-Refundable & Advanced Purchase Rates
Important: These rates are clearly marked as "Non-Refundable" during the booking process.
- Full payment is charged immediately at time of booking and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Date changes or modifications are not permitted after booking confirmation.
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g., government travel restrictions), we may offer credit for future stays at our discretion.
4. Early Departures
Guests departing before their confirmed check-out date will be charged an early departure fee equivalent to one night's room rate plus applicable taxes, unless:
- The departure is due to documented medical emergencies
- Government-mandated travel restrictions
- Other circumstances approved by hotel management
5. No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive for your reservation without prior cancellation ("no-show") will result in:
- Charging the full amount of the first night's stay plus applicable taxes
- Automatic cancellation of any remaining nights in your reservation
- For prepaid reservations, forfeiture of the entire amount paid
6. Group Reservations (5+ Rooms)
Special conditions apply for group reservations:
- Deposit of 25-50% typically required at time of booking
- Cancellation deadlines 30-90 days prior to arrival
- Reduction allowances (typically 10% of rooms) permitted until final payment date
- Specific terms outlined in group contract supersede this general policy
7. Force Majeure Events
In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to:
Natural disastersActs of war/terrorismPandemics/epidemicsGovernment restrictions
We will work with affected guests to provide alternative arrangements or credit for future stays. Cash refunds are issued only when required by applicable law.
8. Refund Processing Procedures
Processing Times:
- Credit Cards: 5-10 business days
- Debit Cards: 7-14 business days
- Bank Transfers: 10-15 business days
- Refunds are issued in the original currency of payment
- Foreign exchange differences are the guest's responsibility
- Bank fees may be deducted from the refund amount

9. Consumer Rights and Jurisdictional Variations
Nothing in this Policy is intended to override your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Specific jurisdictional requirements:
- EU/UK: 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts may apply
- California: CCPA rights as outlined in our Privacy Policy
- Australia: ACL consumer guarantees apply
- Other regional protections as required by local law
